Liz Started dancing at the age of 5. She danced professionally in the UK in
the theatre and in TV productions before settling in Jersey.
Liz continued to dance in many shows in the island and freelanced as a dance
teacher until she started her own school in 1985.
Liz trained at the London College of Dance for 3 years.

Cheryl Barr
Cheryl teaches our budding ballerinas (under 4 years old) and is qualified in
children with special needs as well as being our first aider.
Cheryl excels with costume making and keeps us all fed and watered during
exam time!
Samantha McBurnie
Samantha started dancing at the age of 2 years and took part in
competitions until joining a professional dance company at the age of 10,
touring the UK. She trained as a teacher in Manchester and moved to Jersey
in 1992. Samantha loves teaching children and has two of her own Shani and
Max.
Emma Cole
Emma trained in Dublin at Dean's Grange Academy of Dance and Billy Barry'e
stage school. Emma enjoys teaching all types of dance and specialises in street
dancing and keeping us fit!
Emma came to Jersey in 1999 for three months, spoke to Liz and is still here
all that time later!
Rebecca Barr
Rebecca is one of Liz's first pupils! She started dancing at the age of 3
years, and loved the school so much that she stayed on to teach.
Rebecca teaches tap dancing for children and adults as well as studying for
an open University Degree in life sciences.
Tim Evans
Aside form being the schools pianist Tim plays regularly for dance classes
and exams in the UK and Guernsey. He also played classes for the Royal Ballet
School.
Tim's passion is for musical theatre and is a well known musical director and
singing coach.
Data Protection
From time to time in the course of a year, the Liz Robinson School of Dancing
pupils and Students will be photographed and videoed and may appear in the local
press. Please inform Liz Robinson if you want your child excluded.
Terms & Conditions
Half a term's notice is required if your child no longer wishes to attend.
Examinations & Festival work, pupils must be recommended by teachers.
Fees
1 class a week per term £68
2 classes per week per term £136
3 or more classes per week per term can be paid monthly or by standing order.
